Vacuum Casting
You can have a sample batch to test.
This process utilises silicone rubber as a tooling medium. You can have from 25–80 parts, depending on part geometry and the grade of silicone used.
When you want to bridge the gap between one-off prototypes and the typically larger numbers associated with prototype injection mouldings, this is the perfect solution – and still allows for adjustments to be made later, without launching a full production.
If you need a few parts to test or to hand around to other people you’ll find vacuum casting is just what you need.
It’s a fast and inexpensive process which is ideal for prototyping or for producing small batches of prototype parts without putting the budget up.
You can have precision parts in high performance Polyurethane resins which simulate thermoplastics and rubbers – much more cost effective, quick to produce and ideal when a single prototype is not enough.
